“Good Habit and Bad habit ”

For some reason, it is often  hard to forgive others although God told us to be forgiving. It feels unfair to be generous when we probably should be. We feel like keeping going when we should stop. We want to be served even though God told us to serve others. It seems more convenient to choose a negative thought than to do a positive one. A desire to sleep in when we need to wake up early and a tendency to delay our daily chores are a good example. Bad habits usually seem more familiar to us. This is because it takes time and energy to build a good habit while a bad habit comes across naturally. Such as greed and anger are hard to control, but they can result in a disaster in life otherwise. It seems extremely hard to choose something good sometimes. Why is so? This is because of our sinful nature. Nobody is free from any sins since we cannot cut this chain on our own. Without being conscious about it, it is natural to be manipulated by a negative force. Only the blood of Jesus can overcome our sinful nature. That is why God sent us his only begotten son, Jesus, to cleanse all of our sins. The name of Jesus Christ cleanses our sins and directs us to a right way in each season of life. My personal turning point in my life was when I met Jesus Christ in person. My life before and after this amazing experience is so drastically different that they cannot even be compared. We commemorate Good Friday to remind us of the fact that Jesus died on the cross for each of us to let us be free from sins. I pray that we thank God every moment and confess our sins so that we let God guide us to something good in Jesus’s lovely name. Amen.

"For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do."
