“Precious Little Moments”

 

My son and daughter bothered me while I was trying to have a quite time reading; they kept on making noise, asked me to read stories for them, or argued with each other. This interruption was somewhat annoying, yet I soon realized that this kind of mundane daily routine would vanish one day. As I realized that there is a true value in sharing little moments with my children while they are young, I felt sorry that I felt that way even just for a momen...t. As my children grow old, they would become busier with their own life and want to cherish their privacy to a great extent. They would prefer talking to their friends to talking to my wife and me. This type of little moments would only be cherished as a memory in the past. There are a number of things that time cannot get a hold of once it is passed. The speed of time seems faster as people get older. Therefore, it would be the best strategy to live a life cherishing every little moment whether it is pleasant or not. This type of life should have a clear direction, which can only be provided by God. As you walk with God, you will be able to understand an in-depth meaning of those little and mundane moments in life. May God provide you with wisdom to see that today. Amen.
