Christians can live based on the power of light even when they are in a pitch dark.

Those who have somehow experienced death tend to pursue life no matter what it takes. Those who have experienced absolute devastation tend to live in Jesus who gives them an ultimate hope. Those who have experienced painful loneliness tend to seek love while walking with Jesus. Those who have experienced such an immense fear tend to seek peace that only Jesus can give.

When I am self-centred, everything I have for God starts vanishing.

As soon as I shift my focus on to something else, the gate of heaven begins closing.

The more pride you have, the less dignity you get.

With self-pity, a door to thanksgiving is shut down.

Self-criticism makes you obsessed with what you say.

True and healthy way of loving yourself is not to cover up your sins, but to face them directly. Neither self-love nor self-criticism will do no good, but self-denial will. Every right step before God helps you strengthen your faith and enrich your spiritual journey, which will be the key to being saved in the end.

“Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up

their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life[a] will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and

for the gospel will save it.” (Mark 8:34-35)
