“God-given Hope and Happiness"
God’s commandments were a basis of the peace of Israelites’. When the commandments were broken, the violator was deprived of a right to live in the Land of Promise. This was because they were the people of God who were created as a group that was supposed to stand on his commandments. Today, we live a life on the basis of God’s grace that provided us with hope and happiness. Therefore, once we lose hope and happiness, we lose a right to live in... this world. God said, “If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also” (Matthew 5:39) not because we should always take one step back, thus, make a loss, but because he does not want us to lose happiness while defending ourselves. The verse, “If someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well,” (Matthew 5:40) does not mean that God wants us to yield at all times. Instead, God does not want us to lose hope while trying not to make a loss. Not having hope and happiness in Christians’ life means that people lose their foundation of life. We should seek for God’s grace rather than count every profit through debates. This is because Jesus Christ has already won the battle. We are the group of the lord who walk with the Holy Spirit. I pray that each one of you enjoy your life this week with a true hope and happiness given by God in Jesus’s gracious name. Amen.
"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." (John 16:33)
