“Love Does It All" 

In an attempt to discipline my little children who have a habit of chewing their nails, I check their nails on Saturdays. If they pass the ‘inspection’, they are given a chance to play games. One day, my children ask me how I can tell if their nails were naturally broken or were chewed by them. I said, “I simply can tell by looking at them,” which surprised them. Since then, they have become more careful knowing that this ‘inspection’ is not easy to pass. On 'The Day’, I have mercy on them as long as their effort is obvious regardless of the condition of the nails. I give them a chance to play games and encourage them to keep it up. The way God sees us is the same. He knows whether we commit a sin intentionally or not. Despite our excuses, God knows what actually happened. Regardless, we repeat our sins over and over again. However, God never stops encouraging us and giving us many more chances. Even though Christ has already died on the cross for our sins, he continues to provide an everlasting love and forgiveness for all of us. This is called Love. I pray that we are grateful for his love so that we can love others like Christ loves us in Jesus’s amazing name. Amen.
