“Only Through the Word of God”
Although I always strive to live a life according to the word of God, I often see myself making choices based on my personal life experiences. Unlike what the bible says to us, it is tempting to behave differently depending on the person or the situation at the moment. Sometimes, I find myself pretending to be a better person that who I really am simply because people know that I am Christian. This type of life can eventually lead to a failed relationship with God. Attending a number of church services does not always nurture Christians spiritually. Trying to live a life according to the bible does not always enhance Christians’ maturity. The most important thing is if the word of God is actually influencing your life at this very moment in life. Being aware of the word of God and imply what you acknowledge into your life is a true life we all need to pursue every day. Living a life with Christ itself is a holy sacrifice before God. This cannot be done by one’s will, but only by the word of God. This is why we need to heavily rely on the Holy Spirit’s guidance. May God lead us to fulfill our heart and lips with the word of God so that we can live a life and glorify God’s name. I pray this in Jesus powerful name. Amen.
