"Fulfilling Joy and Everlasting Love"

My 5-year-old daughter enjoys eating cereal every morning. Yesterday, I filled her bowl with cereal and said, “The cereal is all gone now, so we need to buy a new one soon.” My daughter said, “I ate them all up even though it was a lot when we first bought it. I love it so much!” She wanted to buy exactly the same one next time. My daughter seemed so fulfilled and satisfied while talking about it. The fact that she was aware that she fin...ished the whole box of cereal because she liked it so much touches my heart. No matter what your motivation behind your job, you simply would not feel satisfied to a full extent unless you love what you do; neither a high paid job or a job with a minimal salary to support one’s family would do. Even if you get things done properly, your inborn talent must be wasted in some way. This is why it is not uncommon to see people quit their job in the middle. Any work would make you feel bored or exhausted at certain point if there were no joy in doing it. Eventually, all types of complaints replace thanksgiving in this case since a passion of life stems from joy. God always provides an endless joy for us. Knowing that God is there for you itself gives you peace and a sense of fulfillment. Thinking about Jesus brings a big smile on our face. God loves us all at all times and we love God in return. Only in Christ, there is a fulfilling joy and everlasting love. This is why we can continue to take a step forward in hope every morning. I pray that each one of you enjoy such a God given joy this week in Jesus’s joyful name. Amen.

"Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence [is] fulness of joy; at thy right hand [there are] pleasures for evermore."
(Psalm 16:11)
